Furman F1500-UPS Home Theater Uninterruptible Power Supply with Battery Backup and Power Conditioner Overview

Furman’s F1500-UPS provides 1500VA true sine wave battery backup, SMP and EVS protection, Linear Filtration, and AVR standard level voltage regulation to provide ideal backup and protection to equipment that risk data loss or damage in the event of a power outage. The F1500-UPS’ robust 1500VA battery backup provides true sine wave output (ideal for A/V equipment) and will keep connected equipment powered on for up to 15 minutes at half load, 7 minutes at full load, allowing ample time to save data and shut down equipment properly. If extended runtime is needed, external battery packs (BATT1500-EXT, sold separately) are available and may be daisy-chained to the F1500-UPS increase battery capacity. Additionally, the F1500-UPS is a full-featured power conditioner that filters and purifies AC power, reducing line noise and ensuring optimum performance. Not only will your equipment perform better with Furman’s Linear Filtering Technology (LiFT), but it will also be fully protected by our exclusive Series Multi-Stage Protection (SMP), and Extreme Voltage Shutdown (EVS). This circuitry provides the highest level of transient spike and overvoltage protection available. A wide set of control features include critical load management, IR blaster to shut down remote components, open-source programming and control via RS-232, PC control software with USB interface, front panel control, and optional remote TCP/IP control with interface card (available Q4 2009).
